A Walking Tour of Frances Street

Kilrush and District Historical Society is glad to announce a guided walking tour of Frances Street, Kilrush. A step onto Frances Street in Kilrush is a step back in time. This grand, 30-metre-wide thoroughfare runs straight down to the harbour; but it is also, it seems, a direct line to Kilrush’s past as a port town and market hub. We have some fascinating facts to share about its former residents and businesses!

Meet at Jellyfish Marketplace, at the lower end of Frances Street, where you can pick up refreshments to bring with you on our walk.  As this event takes place outdoors, please dress for the weather.
