Connecting Our Stories

From 11.30 am and throughout the day, Banner Books will be hosting a social space for local people to take their ease and share their memories of Old Kilrush.

Explore local history books, with local writers, and share your own family stories and photographs.  Photographs can also be dropped off for recording and restoration by Jackie McCarthy Elger of The Vintage Lens.

Visitors are welcome to bring refreshments with them, available from our neighbours at Jellyfish Marketplace and other nearby businesses.

This is an intergenerational event, and older people with their families or carers are especially welcome.
