The Community Garden Project is a group of gardeners who run Grow It Yourself Gardening Group Kilrush.
The Kilrush Community Garden began in 2005 by a group of gardeners keen to teach everyone in the area how to grow their own fruit and vegetables.
They are located at the back of Nagles Tce on the Kilkee Rd very near the centre of Kilrush Town.
The gardens, which is under 2 acres, includes allotments, four polytunnels, native Irish bee hive (black bee), native Irish apple orchard (Irish Seed Savers trees), and a newly added Geodesic dome.
There are growing areas for gardening classes and the gardens boast a beautiful view of the Shannon Estuary and Scattery Island.
