Kilrush Community Group & Volunteer Expo

The Kilrush Town Team is pleased to announce the upcoming Community & Volunteer Expo, an exciting new initiative aimed at bringing together local community and sports organisations with individuals interested in getting involved in community life.

This vibrant gathering offers a valuable opportunity for local residents to explore the wide range of community and sporting activities available in the Kilrush area. Attendees will have the chance to meet with representatives from local groups, learn about volunteer opportunities, and connect with others who are passionate about making a difference in their community.“

The expo will open with presentations from the Clare Volunteer Centre and the Clare Sports Partnership. The Clare Volunteer Centre will outline the valuable supports they provide to both community organisers and volunteers. The Clare Sports Partnership will share insights into how they promote participation in physical activity and support local sports clubs and organisations across the county.

After the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to browse the room and engage directly with local groups and organisations. Each group will have a table and will be available to answer questions, share information about their activities, and explain how individuals can get involved — whether through volunteering, becoming a member, or simply learning more about community initiatives.
