A Cosy Concert with local folk and country duo Southern Cross Music at Banner Books, Kilrush.
These intimate acoustic concerts give audiences an opportunity to really connect with the performers, immersing themselves in the music in an atmosphere of warmth and companionship.
Southern Cross Music are well known from their performances all around County Clare. They were featured at the Courtyard Sessions as part of this year’s Vandeleur Festival, where they played “… a brilliant, feel-good set that had everyone smiling!”
Other appearances this year have included Fanny O Deas, The Yellow Submarine , The Cellar (Galway ) , Valley Inn (Kilkenny), The Burren Inn, East Clare Trading Post and the Ballynacally Estuary Sessions, plus a live performance on Darragh Leamy’s show on Scariff Bay FM.
Their recent track ‘On and On and On’ got great radio play, and very positive feedback from Roddie Cleers of KCLR’s Irish Music Show.
