DESCRIPTION:The Addams Family\, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family\, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams\, the ultimate princess of darkness\, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet\, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough\, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now\, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife\, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

DESCRIPTION:The monthly open mic social at our Kilrush shop is a free event\, open to all.\nFor lovers of poetry\, flash fiction and any kind of creative writing. Come to read from your own work or to share a favourite piece by another writer\, or come to listen and support.\nTea\, coffee\, and treats provided.This is a free event\, but there will be a ‘Tip Jar’ if you would like to donate towards expenses.\nMarion Moynihan is originally from North Cork\, and has lived in Clare for fifteen years. She has a Liberal Arts Degree from Mary Immaculate College and an MA in Creative Writing from NUIG both as a mature student. She also studied creative writing and Psychology in Thomas More College\, Kentucky. Marion was a winner of The Firewords Award and was awarded a bursary from Galway Co Council. The Moon’s Daughter was published by Doghouse in 2006. She is working on her second collection.
