DESCRIPTION:Join two Clare-based writers this Halloween for a Samhain session as Tracy Fahey (winner of the 2025 Rubery International Award) and Jennifer Lindsay Gray discuss the darker side of lore\, strange stories\, and channelling female voices.\nTracy Fahey is an Irish author and academic based in Co. Clare. In 2025 she won the Rubery International Book Award for her collection\, I Spit Myself Out. Recent work includes They Shut Me Up (PS Publishing\, 2023) shortlisted for a British Fantasy Award\, and What Happens at the End which won The Paul Cave Prize for Literature in 2024. Her stories have appeared in over 50 Irish\, UK\, US and Australian anthologies. She has been shortlisted for numerous awards\, granted national and international residencies\, and in 2023 her writing was recognised with a Saari Fellowship. Her next book\, Queens of the Crone Age\, is out in 2026 with PS Publishing. Her short stories and poetry have featured in journals such as Neon\, Flash: The International Short-Short Story Magazine\, and Glasgow Women Poets. Gray is a member of the Clare Poetry Collective and Nocturne Writers.
