Farmer’s Market

Kilrush Farmer’s Market is held every Thursday from 9 am until 2 pm in The Square. The market starts traditionally after St. Patricks Day and continues to the end of September. Stallholders from the surrounding area have been bringing their produce to the Farmer’s Market for over a decade, keeping up with the tradition of the market town. Produce ranges from a great variety of plants, seasonal vegetables, fresh eggs, local honey, jam, fresh and dried herbs, organic soaps and creams, delicious treats and bread to handmade crafts and more. Something for everyone. It is a great occasion for people to meet in the community and to get to know the traders over a nice cup of tea or coffee.
